In the reviews for Xcode it appears to, but does anyone know where to find it? I only see the Xcode UI help.

The documentation is a huge code and function reference and you can just look at stuff and play around with it. I really like PureBasic, as everything but the editor is accessible, go figure. Also, is there an absolute newbie guide to Swift around? I took a look at that book they launched at WWDC, but that book appeared to be focusing on getting the Objective C coders converted to Swift as efficiently as possible. When you open Xcode for the first time and start a new project, the only options you are given for gaming are related to iOS.

With Xcode, I'm not sure how to develop a Mac app. It saves me from having to open Terminal every time I want to run a script. I am particularly disappointed with Sublime Text because I am going through Learn Python the Hard Way and Sublime Text has a Python console built in, that you could probably bring up and close with a single keystroke. TextRangler and Sublime Text all prove inaccessible. The app has all the functionality except that you can’t save a document until you buy a license.I have tried two development editors on the Mac so far, and am not impressed. Even developers who want a simple environment may find its usability annoying however. – Commands – You can run commands from within Smultron if you for instance want to compile some code or validate an HTML document. Smultron is a budget text editor with the minimum of features. – Preview – With this you can preview the content of the current document.
– Close tag – This tries to find the correct tag to close by calculating the number of tags that has been closed and opened so it will find the last tag that hasn’t been closed. – Snippets – Snippets are pieces of text that you use often or want easy access to. – Functions – You can see a list of all the functions in your document in the Tools menu or with the toolbar item and go directly to that function.
